MR. DON BARRY: The home office. The questions I have,
first of all, I missed one of the figures that you were giving
at the onset of this. The portion of this $551,000 that was
streets was $249,000 and some hundred.

MR. POPOVICH: $249,739.

MR. DON BARRY: I guess my next question would be just as
a matter of information for us, would be what parts of this
would Williams Pipeline be involved in? Obviously we would be
involved to some extent in the 12 inch watermain and I'm
wondering, assuming we must be involved or could possibly be
involved in the drainage part. I'm wondering how much, if we
are, and are those the only two things we would be involved in.

MR. HONCHELL: As currently proposed, there is no involve-
ment in anything other than the watermain.

MR. DON BARRY: We would be involved then to the total
extent of our frontage along the right-of-way of 88?

MR. HONCHELL: It would the portion that touches 88.

K~. DON BARRY: I guess that answers my questions.

COUNCILMAN JOHNSON: If we do any of this, Charlie, where
are we?

MR. HONCHELL: Well, let's take them one at a time. We'll
go to the point where there seems to be the most opposition,
certainly the paving. If we didnlt do the paving, the parcels
would remain as they currently are in the way of arrangement.
Namely that they would be fairly small in the way of frontage
on County Road C and they would get their access, their sani-
tary sewer, and in the case of some of them, water by going to
County Road C. They would have long driveways and long sewer
and water services. All the sites would still be buildable.
Going beyond that, if we didn't do the street, and if we don't
do the street it would be my recommendation not to acquire the
Marabella property because that's as expensive as the entire
improvement or the watermain. So if we would not do the sani-
tary sewer, same comments. We would have to bring their sewer
services all the way up C. If we didn't do the watermain, we
would not have any water available to the M & M site, other
than going to C. We would not have the looping of the dead-end
watermains currently on C and only partially looped on C-2.
We would not be following the sort of master plan we had back
in 1976 as to what needed to be done. If we don't build the
storm sewer facilities, in my opinion we are just waiting for
when a big rain comes and floods St. Anthony. I think it's a
case of will and I think it's a case of when.

MAYOR DEMOS:
to do two things.

The way I feel about it, I feel we're obliged
I'm not saying that at this point we should

16
