The Program Planning Committee be authorized to budget and expend no <br /> more than $300 from Commission funds for task force operating expenses <br /> including costs associated with the initial organizing meeting of the Task Force, <br /> including but not limited to costs for beverages and food associated with the May <br /> 17th event, said May 17th beverage and food costs not to exceed more than half of <br /> the budgeted amount of $300, said amount excluding the task force coordinator's <br /> stipend. <br /> e. The Administration Department of the City of Roseville be requested to <br /> provide ongoing coverage and information on the task force in its various <br /> publications and news outlets, and it also be requested to provide a web page <br /> (with links from the Human Rights Commission's web page), for the Civic <br /> Engagement Task Force as it has for similar city projects such as the Parks and <br /> Recreation Department's Master Parks Plan process and other city-wide <br /> community projects; and <br /> f. The Task Force be required and authorized to hold at least one public <br /> community meeting whose focus shall be on hearing from Roseville residents on <br /> issues and concerns of civic engagement and public participation in city <br /> government. <br /> 2) The Committee recommends that the Commission sponsor, and the <br /> Program Planning Committee be authorized to develop and conduct a <br /> Community Forum on issues of civil rights for gays and lesbians this <br /> calendar year, with a program to be developed by the Project 515 <br /> Educational Campaign, in a May 21 , 2010 letter from the League of <br /> Minnesota Human Rights Commissions recommended by the and <br /> discussed at the Commission's June 8, 2010, meeting. (A copy of the <br /> May 21, 2010, League of Minnesota Human Rights Commissions is attached.) <br /> a. The Committee recommends it be authorized to seek cosponsorship with the <br /> Shoreview and Falcon Heights Human Rights Commissions for this program. <br /> b.
