Roseville Human lights Commission <br />May 10, 2011 <br />Draft Minutes <br />Page 5 of 5 <br />181 on=" ssioner Kennedy said she was handing in her resignation from the Commission citing work <br />182 and family commitments that limit her time to volunteer. She said that even though she did not <br />183 represent the school district, she brought a lot of knowledge and she suggested the Conunission <br />184 consider requesting that the Council have a school representative to be a part of the Commission. <br />185 The Commission agreed to pass that along to the Internal Affairs Subcommittee. <br />186 <br />187 omrm'ssioner Grefenberg, on behalf of the Commission, thanked Commissioner Kennedy and <br />188 Commissioner Barb Yates for their work. <br />189 <br />190 Curti said that she had just learned that Roseville's essay contest winner Sophia Mili.otis tools first <br />191 place in the statewide contest. <br />192 <br />193 Commissioner Kennedy said her daughter recently tools first place in the Shoreview poster contest. <br />194 She suggested Roseville consider the poster contest as a way to engage younger students. <br />195 <br />196 Commissioner Grefenberg said the HRC that the City Council is going through the 2012 budges <br />197 and Conmiissioners might want to express to there their thoughts about the current budget. <br />198 <br />199 Commissioner Grefenberg said the HRC will meet with the City Council in July, so the y should be <br />00 thinking about things they want to discuss. <br />X02 Curti told Commissioners that the City was going to post the Commission packet on the city's <br />203 website, with the goal to having it posted by the Thursday before the Commiss 4 ion meeting. <br />204 <br />05 9. Adjournment <br />206 <br />207 Conunissioner Brisbois moved and Commissioner Thao seconded motion to adjourn at <br />208 approximately 7:55 p.m. Motion prevailed. <br />
